SWIMMING
Artificial lakes: Very nice artificial lake in Flumet (4 km). Also a larger one in Passy (20 km) where you can windsurf and go canoeing; and finally in Combloux (9 km) where there is a “biotope” lake with fitness centre.
Swimming Pools: Three Pools in Megève (4 km), one of which is an Olympic-size outdoor pool.

FISHING IN THE LAKES AND RIVERS
Mountain lakes and rivers contain many varieties of fish. It’s a real pleasure to fish in such impressive and peaceful surroundings. The Haute-Savoie Departmental Federation of Fishing Associations offers the following possibilities:
- if you have a current permit from another fishing association, bearing both fishing tax stamps, you can obtain a permit valid for 1 month, 15 days, 7 days or one day.
- if you don’t have a permit, a tourist permit can be issued.
