The ski area   New 6-seater detachable chairlift in inter 2007-2008! You were all waiting for it and here it is! The Crêt du Midi 6-seater detachable chairlift allows you to climb 700 metres in... 7 minutes! It leaves from the foot of the ski area, at 1,000 metres, and arrives near the Crêt du Midi (close to the top of the Pierre ski tow), at 1,700 metres. No need to take the Varoche and Tendues chairlifts any more to get to the upper slopes of Praz-sur-Arly! It’s the biggest chairlift constructed in France this year. It measures 2,329 metres and can carry 2,500 skiers an hour. It’s a Multix (Poma) model and travels at 5.5 metres a second, has 21 pylons and 90 seats. Opening of the ski area: 22 December 2007 (snow conditions permitting). The Espace Val d’Arly The “Praz-sur-Arly” ski pass disappeared in 2007 and has been replaced by the “Espace Val d’Arly” pass. With this, you will be able to ski in Praz-sur-Arly, Flumet, Crest-Voland Cohennoz and Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe, i.e. 120 kms of runs at very competitive prices! There are 55 ski lifts, 13 chairlifts and 42 ski tows. 101 runs: 120 kms with 15 green, 28 blue, 26 red and 4 black runs. 3 slalom and 3 snowboard stadiums. Altitude: 1,000 to 2,070 metres.

The Espace Diamant Take advantage of even more skiing possibilities in this vast 185 km area. The Espace Diamant covers the resort of Les Saisies as well as the Val d’Arly area.
