Family activities in Summer

The "Family Plus" Label

“FAMILY PLUS” welcomes you. Here are our 6 guiding principles for young and old:

1. A personalized welcome for families.

2. Entertainment adapted to all age groups.

3. From the youngest to the oldest: each has their own tariff.

4. Activities for young and old, either together or separately.

5. A medical service close by for minor ailments.

6. Children looked after by our professionals. Children’s theme weeks are proposed by the Tourist Office in their programme of entertainment.

Family hikes

It’s not always easy to motivate children to walk, nor to find a suitably adapted place to walk. Praz-sur-Arly therefore created two easy itineraries of not more than an hour and 40 minutes’ duration. Each itinerary is dotted with fun educational panels to discover the nature around you. You’ll maybe see marmots and discover the names of all the mountain peaks in the area.

Mountain Bike course and "Trial"

The vast woodland area in the Belles Leisure Park, on the banks of the Arly River, has been cleared for this activity, offering parents and those accompanying children a lovely shady site. Beginners can learn to ride over a track of wooden modules. For the more experienced, a free  mountain bike “trial” is open to all those who like strong emotions and where “young pros” can train.

Pushchair circuits

The circuits, indicated by specific signs (pictogram showing a couple with a stroller) allow you to walk along the banks of the Arly or to join the pretty hamlet of Cassioz, between Praz and Megève. This latter route requires an all-terrain stroller, which you can rent if necessary in one of the sports shops of the resort.

> The Arly Circuit (marked in blue): Runs along the Arly River and takes about 30 minutes. It allows access to the banks of the river, offering pleasant breaks in the shade of the trees. Families with older children can let them play by the water and enjoy the natural surroundings.

> Belles Leisure Park circuit (marked in yellow): Circuit for “All terrain”  strollers.  The yellow route is more urban and arrives at the Belles Leisure Park (loop of 40 mn). There, the little ones will love the many games (including the zip-line) and the multi-sports field.

> Cassioz Circuit (marked in green): This third stroller circuit is reserved for “all terrain” strollers. If you do not have one, they can be rented at local sports shops.
