This summer, Praz-sur-Arly has prepared a multi-vitamin cocktail of events for all the family! There will be about 10 of them to delight young and old! Three new events are on the programme: the Young Talent Festival with Brice Conrad and Fréro Delavega, the Vintage Car Day and the passage of the Mont Blanc Ultra Trail (PTL) Marathon.

Our latest marked footpath will be inaugurated this summer. It’s a fun and interactive walk, illustrated with a comic strip adventure story. The walk – a treasure hunt – takes the family up to the summer pastures via the Crêt du Midi chairlift, like a trip in a time machine! A family walk of less than 2 hours following in the footsteps of Fanfouétomas and the smugglers…

Marc Joguet has become the World Dog-sledding Vice-Champion in the two-dog sprint category in Austria. This is a season’s best for the musher from Praz-sur-Arly, following his national title and a first place in the Alpes du Grand Serre race. The European Chamionships take place this coming weekend in Innerkrems, Austria.

The Yooner is back on the pistes of Praz-sur-Arly! Come and join us on 23 and 24 March for the 3rd edition of the French Yooner Championships and the Final of the 2013 Yooner Tour. This year there’s a new “kids” category and a special prize for the best fancy dress costume. The competition is open to everyone!

The “Grande Odyssée Savoie Mont Blanc” is the most difficult international dog-sled race in the world because of the topography of the mountains it covers. Each year, twenty of the best mushers in the world compete in it. Three stages will take place in the Espace Diamant, with the Praz sur Arly-Crest Voland Cohennoz stage on Wednesday, 16 January 2013.
