Megève Village (4 km)

 

Megève, with its charming pedestrian streets, is a lovely village with a beautiful church and many luxury shops in the main square.

 

The Mont-Blanc Tramway in St Gervais (15 km)

The highest train in France awaits you for a fantastic journey from the foot of the Mont-Blanc. This cog-railway dates back to 1904. It will take you up to the Nid d’Aigle (2,372m) and to the foot of the Bionnassay Glacier, travelling leisurely through forests, Alpine pastures and high mountain scenery.

The “Mer de Glace” in Chamonix (35 km) 

Enjoy a unique experience and discover the inside of a glacier and all its sculptures and important personalities.
In 20 minutes by cog railway from the heart of Chamonix, you reach the site of the “Mer de Glace” (Sea of Ice).
An area of 40 square metres, 7km long and 200m thick, this natural site is surrounded by prestigious summits.
The cable car takes you directly into the grotto. There you will also find a permanent exhibition of several dozen Alpine species as well as different types of crystal in the heart of the carved-out rock gallery.

The “Aiguille du Midi” in Chamonix (35 km)

The “Aiguille du Midi” (Midday Needle) is the very heart of the Mont Blanc range.
You rise from 1,030m above sea level to 3,842m, flying over the tree tops. The Mont Blanc summit, the Bossons Glacier, the Aiguille Verte, the Drus and then the Pèlerins seracs and glacier all lie before you.
Then you will visit the north peak, the central peak, the Mont Blanc terrace and the Vallée Blanche.
