Founded in 2022, the Alp’Penta Brass quintet brings together five musicians from the French-Swiss Alps region, all graduates of Swiss universities or French conservatories. A strong bond unites them around two great passions: music and brass instruments! From Giovanni Gabrieli and J.S. Bach to Piazzolla, ranging from popular repertoire to arrangements of film scores and jazz, the quintet stands out by performing almost exclusively pieces written or arranged by its own members. The quintet has set itself the challenge of performing a large portion of its program from memory on stage.
