Snowshoe trails

The Val d'Arly is an exceptional natural site for this leisure activity, which is accessible to all. Through forests and snow-covered mountain pastures, discover mountain landscapes and winter wildlife. Praz sur Arly offers two marked trails for free practice.

The Evettes trail: a pleasant route through forest and glades. Beautiful views of the Aravis massif and the Arly valley enhance this hike, which is accessible to all (from age 10). Approx. 1h50 round trip. Access: either from the Rosière chairlift (return pedestrian access for a fee) or by car from Les Bernards or the Grabilles parking lot.

The Cassioz and Thouvassières loop: the perfect way to discover the life of the hamlets and a unique view of the Val d'Arly. It's a signposted trail of around 1h40 round trip, starting from the ski area parking lot.

Group snowshoe outings

In addition to the two marked snowshoeing trails in Praz sur Arly, the Bureau des Guides de Megève offers a weekly program of half-day, full-day and themed (night-time) group outings supervised by mountain professionals (guides). Equipment loan included (snowshoes, poles).

During the winter season (Saturday to Monday) , the Megève Guides' Office is open at 5.30pm at the Tourist Office. Outside these hours, the Tourist Office hostesses take care of reservations.
