Description
In winter, it takes pedestrians and skiers to the Plateau de Bellevue (1800 m) and the ski area of Les Houches for the pleasure of a most picturesque walk and the grandeur of an exceptional panorama.
In summer, it takes you as far as the Nid d'Aigle. Please note: following renovation work this summer (2025), the train will only run up to Mont Lachat. Take the cogwheel train for an effortless assault on the summits. Jeanne, Marie or Anne will take you to the gates of the high mountains, to the delight of your eyes... and your legs!
Access to the Nid d'Aigle is reserved for mountaineers with a refuge reservation.
Trains specially dedicated to mountaineers planning to climb Mont Blanc via the normal Goûter route will be offered at the following times: 7am, 12pm and last train from Le Fayet - Descent at 8.10am 1.10pm and last train back minus 10 minutes.

Trains at 8am, 10.30am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm will run according to weather conditions and passenger numbers.
The train terminus is at Mont Lachat.
