Description
In winter, it takes pedestrians and skiers to the Plateau de Bellevue (1800 m) and the ski area of Les Houches for the pleasure of a most picturesque walk and the grandeur of an exceptional panorama.
Starting this summer, forget the old steep terminus. From now on, the trains will drop you off 300 metres further on, directly at the foot of the Nid d'Aigle refuge, at an altitude of 2,412 metres. The new platform, fully stabilized and integrated into the landscape, offers a level arrival point, making the site much more accessible to families and contemplative visitors. A new observation platform allows visitors to admire the seracs of the Bionnassay glacier in complete safety.
