This package offers you a discovery dog-sledding hike with our sled dogs at the end of the day! Meet us at 5:00 p.m. at the Leutaz parking lot (Megève). After a brief introduction to the different breeds of sled dogs, we’ll provide you with all the necessary information about dog-sledding hikes so you can fully enjoy the activity. We’ll also explain the personality traits of the dog that will accompany you on this hike. After a 30- to 45-minute hike, we’ll arrive at our little clearing in Praz-sur-Arly, near our Canadian tent. Tucked away in the forest, we’ll put the dogs in their small kennel, where you can spend some time petting them, and we’ll enjoy a light appetizer featuring local products prepared by Alpage les Têtes (cold cuts, cheese, non-alcoholic beverages). After this short break, we’ll head back to the parking lot. Children between the ages of 6 and 9 will share a dog in a “Duo” team—either with another child or with an adult. Be sure to bring hiking shoes, water, and weather-appropriate clothing. And don’t forget mosquito repellent! Groups can be formed. Activity led by a state-certified musher.
