Praz-sur-Arly is well known for its hot-air balloon flights. Flights depart from the village all year round, in all 4 seasons. The spectacle is superb, and the view from the gondola is enchanting as the balloon rises above the peaks. A balcony overlooking the Mont Blanc Massif, the Aravis chain, the Beaufortin, and parts of the Swiss and Italian Alps... Thanks to the exceptional aerology of this "Corner of the Alps", the resort of Praz sur Arly has a year-round airline.

34th Montgolfiades Internationales
January 11 and 12, 2025
With its ideal aerological conditions, the resort of Praz-sur-Arly has become, in just a few years, the spot for mountain aerostation in France. Hot-air balloon flights are possible all year round, thanks to Gérard Issartel and the Alpes Montgolfière team. And over the weekend, the Haute-Savoie village comes alive with a veritable aerostation festival, the Montgolfiades Internationales!
