Mountain Bike trails

There are numerous marked mountain bike itineraries in Praz-sur-Arly, as well as in the surrounding villages. The opening of the chairlifts in summer makes the ascent easier for the less sporty, or simply for those who want to take advantage of the downhill possibilities of the trails.

The Espace Diamant has 26 FFC-certified mountain bike circuits, representing 375 km of accessible trails of all levels and all types of biking. Download the map

For mountain bike enthusiasts, we offer 230km of cross country trails through forested areas, stone paths and mountain pastures. Download the map

The Espace Mont-Blanc

There are also many mountain bike trails (57 signposted itineraries) in the Mont Blanc region (10 signposted trails in Praz sur Arly). A map is available for sale from the Tourist Office.

Beginners' area and "Trial"

The vast woodland area in the Belles Leisure Park, on the banks of the Arly River, has been cleared for this activity, offering parents and those accompanying children a lovely shady site. Beginners can learn to ride over a track of wooden modules. For the more experienced, a free  mountain bike “trial” is open to all those who like strong emotions and where “young pros” can train.

Electrically-assisted mountain bikes

You can hire an electrically-assisted mountain bike for a day or half-day, or take a group or private outing with a mountain bike instructor. The electrically-assisted mountain bike allows you to take on the summits directly from Praz sur Arly and offers welcome assistance on the steepest climbs!
